Apart from the visual overhaul, the new design also features a more intuitive way of organizing the app, a number of changes to the way you use it, as well as updated email notifications.
Here are the six biggest changes.
1. Full control with the new Dashboard
The Dashboard area has been given a revamp, with the center stage given to the list of files ready for your review. The top five lists have also been improved, and you can now click the files, users or domains on them to stop or extend the file sharing.

2. We've done away with Safelist
There is no longer a dedicated area in Tricent called Safelist. You can still choose to keep sharing a file if you need to, but this is now referred to as an extension. You can no longer choose the length of the extension period. Instead, the general extension period is now pre-selected by your admins. |
|
3. New content in notification emails
The notification emails have been rewritten for clarity but also to reflect the new design. Note that until we are in general release, we will continue with the current email notifications that still refer to concepts like safelisting. In the old design, you would open your cleanup list from the link in the notification email. Now you'll be taken straight to the Tricent app. |
|
4. Mobile-friendly dashboard
You can now access your cleanup list on your mobile device. When you open a notification email on your mobile device, you can access the cleanup list in the Tricent dashboard right there to stop or extend the sharing with a few clicks.

|
5. You now have in-app notifications
To help you understand what has happened in the Tricent app, we have introduced a notification center in the upper-right corner of the app. Unread notifications will be marked red for a quick overview, and are all time-stamped and organized chronologically. |
|
6. A new area with all your shared files
We have introduced a new area that lists all the files eligible for cleanup that you have shared with both colleagues in your own organization and people outside it. The area is called Files. This gives a complete overview and enables you to both extend and stop the sharing of files that are not yet part of a cleanup cycle.
