To provide a complete overview of what is going on in our engine, and is done by users and administrators working inside of Tricent, we have the Event Logs area.
An event is an operation that has been set off by a user, an administrator, or by our system, and the event contains all the actions that took place after setting off the event. Unsharing events, both automated, manual, and bulk, can be rolled back to reshare the files with the accounts they were shared with before the unsharing.
Apart from the time stamp and size indication, an Event has a Description and a Target.
The description is what type of event was done, and the target is the account, drive or the like that the action was performed on. For instance, if an admin uses bulk cleanup on a user account called user@domain.com, then Bulk unshare files on user is the description and user@domain.com is the target.
If you want to download a CSV version of the entire list or parts of it, simply tick the relevant events and click the blue Download button in the upper right corner.
Some events will be listed as having 0 Entires in the column Size. This is, for instance, the case if it was time to unshare files on a user, but there were no files to unshare. You can exclude these events by ticking Exclude empty events.
