Where Tricent for Microsoft 365 stores your data

First of all, Tricent for Microsoft 365 only collects the metadata of your files and teams. No copy of your actual files or teams is ever made. By metadata, we mean file and team names, sharing information, owner, etc.

We use Microsoft's Azure SQL Server to store, index, and serve this metadata to the frontend of the portal, the end user cleanup page, and the email notifications.

If your organization is based in Europe, we will place your data at rest in a data center within the EU (more precisely, the West EU region) to comply with any data residency and compliance needs you may have. Similarly, if you are based in the States, we'll make sure your data stays there.
